EVENT NEWS
1-8-2012
Registration opened on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 as promised and in
less than a week, we have received a total of 42 registration forms,
with more that we know of, "In the mail" still to be delivered. It is
likely that we will reach or surpass "Half Capacity" within the first
week. It is our hope that folks who have attended past events and plan
attending this year's event, don't miss their oppurtunity to attend
because of a sell-out. Our last event didn't sell out until the
beginning of May, but if registration keeps up at its current pace, we
will reach capacity very soon. So, if you haven't sent your
registration form to us yet, please don't delay and risk "Missing the
boat." This year's event will coincide with Fortuna's Redwood Auto
Expo, as it did during IRG2.0, which worked out very well. We still
have much work to do to get this website fully updated, so check back
often to stay informed as this event takes form. The Event Schedule
will be posted as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience, as these
past two weeks have been very busy for us. Looking forward to seeing
everyone in those big trees this coming July!!!
1-8-2012 It appears that interest in the IRG Summer Nationals Teardrop Derby Race has waned since it's inception four years ago, so what to do to replace it? Well, Doug Hodder has once again, come up with a great idea... Since so many of us are into vintage camping equipment, we're going to have a "Light-Up on the Meadow" this year. (See how many Coleman lanterns we can get running at once) We're going to attempt to set a World Record, so dust off and tune up your Coleman lanterns folks!!! (Should make for an awesome photo-op)

1-10-2012 Good news... It appears that the rush is over... Just two registrations today
1-14-2012 The event has sold out and registration is closed. We will honor registrations postmarked no later than January 14th and will add them to the roster. We know of at least five that are still in the mail.
