When we travel we go from KOA to KOA because we are often to tired to figure out where what is and they offer info at the office and some time dinner or breakfast for a small amount.

in many states they are inexpensive in California they are not. But often offer a safe place to leave your trailer while you go off to find.... Plus restrooms and showers.
Most RV stops offer no restroom.
