Dear Joannie,

I see that the coffee Klatch starts at 6:30 AM and affles at 7:00 AM. What time do they finish? Please remember many retirees no longer feel the compulsion to get up at dawn and swig down their first meal by 7:30, especially those attendees who may have to take medicines in the morning and not be able to eat by that early hour.

I asked Grant how they had done their breakdfasts in Washington last week and he said  that breakfasts were from 7-10 AM. Now that does accomadate everyone most likely. Just a hoot-on one day the men made breakfast on the other the women. Finally there was some gender selection that was not meanspirited :veryhappy:

Dear Guy,
The coffee press will be up in the cook shack and available for cups beginning about 6:30 am. Last time people brought up samples of their coffee, their own cup, and we did some coffee trades.  I put out items for a continental type breakfast like muffins, fruit, juice so people could have a bite to eat and a bit of conversation before their official breakfast.  This was meant to be a time for the early birds to come up and visit so you didn't have to rattle around in your teardrop and/or make a fire just for a cup of joe.  The waffle day (just one AM) will be worked out when I find out the number of people cooking, where they plan to cook, and how to give ample time for people to taste and try out the waffles that will be voted upon.

Many people came up for coffee and then had breakfast at their own site later on that morning.  Others came to visit and drop off an item they had made like a coffee cake, scones, etc.  It is a time for the people who like to sleep late to do so, and those that are early risers an opportunity to gather and talk.  Hope this answers your questions.  Joanie

Joanie...I can't remember...was there fuel for the large cook stove in the main building?  Waffles could be cooked at 1 central location if that baby was available, wasn't it a 6 burner?  .  Doug

Guy,
You're just gonna have to get up before the crack of noon.
Doug,
The big commercial range in the cookshack has been converted to propane and it is available for our use.

as a early bird I loved the coffee clatch last time, and Kathy likes it because it gets me away from the trailer in the morning so she can keep sleeping

Dear Paul and George,

I guess Norma, Kathy, and I will have brunch together

Joannie, that is great and really explained it. We were not so well organized at IRG 1.1. After all, some freinds nearly burned the Shack down!! :surprised:

Dino, do you need an extra propane tank for that stove, or did they put in a large tank too?

Hey Guy....regardless of what time you get up....I'm sure you won't go hungry...I don't think that has ever been a complaint from any teardropper!     Doug

Some how those two sentences don't seem like they should be in that close of a vicinity to each other. Kind of a scary thought all things considered!!!
